Workshop I: Pattern and Design course with Eleonore Unkel-Schäufelin Duration: about 3.5 hours Design of a classic pattern with special view at the proportions. How can I put he animal into different positions (sitting, lying on the back etc.), fitting paws, inserted snouts, open mouth, 2-jointed neck, un-jointed bear, design of pattern by picture, darts and many important details. Questions will be answered. Costs: €90.- Date: Sunday, 26 April 2009, 12 noon
Workshop II: Needle sculpting of the paws with Margarete Nedballa Duration: about 1.5 hours The teddy pattern is included and has to be sewn beforehand at home. The participants can bring the empty body to the course where the paws will be sculpted. Questions concerning the design of the head will be answered by Margarete Nedballa. Costs: €39.- incl. pattern Date: Saturday, 25 April 2009, 1 p.m.
Workshop III: Face design of a bunny by felting technique with Jutta Michels Duration: about 2-3 hours In preparation of the course the head should be sewn and stuffed (necessarily with sheep’s wool!). If possible, the head should already be jointed to the body. Moreover, the ears have to be sewn and turned. During the course the design of the face will be carried out. Costs: €74.- incl. material: fabrics, eyes, joints, wire for the ears as well as pattern and instructions. Please bring tools, sewing threads and filling wool! Date: Saturday, 25 April, 2 p.m. Note: The number of participantes is limited to 8!
Workshop IV: Make-up course for teddies with Heike Boam Duration: about 2 hours Every participant will be sent the pattern and material recommendation beforehand and has to bring the teddy completed at home so that the make-up can be applied during this course, if requested also with eyelids and artificial lashes. Costs: €39.- incl. pattern and material recommendation Date: Sunday, 26 April 2009, 12 noon
Workshop V: Making a teddy bear with Fabian Song Duration: about 5 hours Under the guidance of Fabian Song the participants will manufacture a 5-jointed, about 23 cm high teddy bear. The needle sculpting of a face as well as embroidering the nose will be shown. All material necessary will be provided. Please bring your own tools, i.e. needles, nylon thread, pliers, scissors etc. Working language is English! Costs: €90.- incl. pattern and material Date: Sunday, 26 April 2009, 11 a.m.
